Eunice Anderson

Eunice "Inez" Anderson, 76, of Oktaha, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was born on July 23, 1938 in Checotah; the daughter of Herbert and Iva Mae (Waldroop) Beshears. Inez worked for the Veterans Administration as a legal secretary for many years. She had a heart for animals, especially her 2 dogs and 4 cats. She looked forward to attending church and listening to gospel music. Inez also enjoyed gardening and sewing. She looked forward to spending time with her family and cherished each moment she had with them. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in the Oktaha Gospel Church with Pastor Ben Hale officiating. Burial will be in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery with Jack Moore, Josh Rowan, Brandon Hall, Nick Horn, Melvin Cullum, and Randy Didway serving as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 6, 2014 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Inez is survived by her son, John Matthews and wife Lisa of Muskogee, Oklahoma; daughters, Diane Cullum and husband Melvin of Muskogee, Oklahoma, June Hall of Oktaha, Oklahoma, Deanna Moore and husband Jackie of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Cassie Horn and husband Nick of Wagoner, Oklahoma; step daughter, Glenda Anderson and husband Wayne of Tennessee; sisters, Alma Beshears of Minnesota and Dot Yarbrough of Checotah, Oklahoma; 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Iva Mae Beshears; her husband, Billy Glenn Anderson, and sister, Sybil Fowler.
