Fannie Mae Murphy, 93, of Chouteau, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at her home. She was born on August 11, 1923 in Salina, Oklahoma; the daughter of Tyler Chuckluck and Jennie Cabbagehead. Fannie was a homemaker most of her life, working always to make a good home for her children. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching baseball and working word puzzles. She also enjoyed playing with her dogs and quilting. She looked forward to spending time with her family and cherished each moment she had to spend with them. She leaves behind so many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2016 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held before the service from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 30. Fannie is survived by her sons, Caleb and wife Willie Jo Beam of Locust Grove, Oklahoma and Andrew Easky of Muskogee, Oklahoma; daughters, John and husband Burl Forkner of Chouteau, Oklahoma, Anita Ford of Skiatook, Oklahoma, Kelly Collins of Blue Springs, Missouri; 166 grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Murphy, parents, Tyler and Jennie Chuckluck, sons, Lonnie and Tommy Easky, daughters, Linda Dickinson and Patsy Easky; brothers, Bridge Chuckluck, Sr., and John Chuckluck; and sisters, Ella Levi and Betty James.
