Frank Pharoah

Frank Ray Pharoah, 68, of Pryor, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on August 11, 1949 in Pauls Valley; the son of Edward E. Pharoah, Sr. and Beulah Mae (Jenkins) Pharoah. Frank faithfully served his country in the United States Marine Corps and after being honorably discharged, went to work for Kerr McGee in California as a Chemical Plant Operator. Frank loved to spend time outdoors, especially when he was able to go fishing, hunting, or watch nature. He loved birdwatching. He also enjoyed watching OU football and working on his home, his family would say he was quite the decorator. In his later years, Frank took up the jewelry making as a hobby. He liked to make rock jewelry of all kinds. Most of all, Frank was a generous and kind man, always thinking of others first and making sure he could always put a smile on the faces of those around him. He leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in the Maysville Cemetery in Maysville, Oklahoma with Lynn Wallis, John Wallis, Denton Frazier, Allen Frazier, and Kevin Bolles serving as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m., until 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 23, 2018 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Frank is survived by his son, Edward Pharoah; daughter, Stephanie Pharoah; brother, Edward Pharoah, Jr.; sisters, Linda Wallis and Beverly Fraizer; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Beulah Pharoah; brother, Isa "Bill" Pharoah and sisters, Aletha Bolles and Laquita Tillery.
