Fred Dene Williams, 72, of Disney, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015 at his home in Disney. He was born on February 25, 1943 in McAlester, Oklahoma. Fred graduated from Savanna High School and enlisted into the United States Army, faithfully serving his country from 1961 until 1964. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially when he was hunting or fishing. Fred was a trained machinist, mechanic and a gifted 'tinker' who could build, modify, or repair anything. He participated in many charitable events including the VFW children's motorcycle rides, volunteering in soup kitchens, and other events that benefited children. He truly was a father to any child in need. Fred also enjoyed racing cars and riding motorcycles - specifically his Harley Davidson. He owned Bixby Wines & Spirits for 28 years and enjoyed meeting new people. No formal services are planned at this time. Fred is survived by his wife, Diana Williams of the home; his son, Cy Williams and wife Heather of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Stacey Odegaard and fiancé Randy Buck of Spavinaw, Oklahoma and Jennifer Soule and fiancé Luis Gary Reed of San Diego, California; 2 grandchildren Emma and Dene Williams; and many other relatives and friends.
