Garry Kilgore

Garry Don Kilgore, 37, of Chouteau, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on July 28, 1978 in Pryor; the son of David and Barbara (Pitts) Kilgore. He graduated from Chouteau High School in the Class of 1997. Garry worked with his parents, at the Little by Little Daycare in Chouteau, helping with maintenance and keeping the grounds maintained. He enjoyed the outdoors and going fishing. He also was a OU football fan and looked forward to watching them play. He had a special love for his niece and nephews; and especially enjoyed going to watch them play baseball. Garry loved spending time with his friends and family and enjoyed each moment he had to spend with them. He leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in the Chouteau West Cemetery with Wynn Wennakamp officiating. No formal visitation is scheduled, but come and go visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m., until 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 20, 2016 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. He is survived by his father, David Kilgore; mother, Barbara Kilgore; sister, Theresa Troyer and husband, Joshua of Chouteau, Oklahoma; niece; Summer Troyer of Chouteau, Oklahoma; nephews, Taylor Troyer, Blake Troyer, Carter Troyer, Kayden Troyer, and Jaceton Troyer, all of Chouteau; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Kilgore and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
