Garry Smith

Garry Lynn Smith, 58, of Spavinaw, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on July 29, 1959 in Claremore, Oklahoma; the son of Robert and Wilma Hazel (Grass) Smith. Garry worked most of his life as a cook in the restaurant industry. He looked forward to going fishing and playing horseshoes. He also liked to go to yard sales and spend time with his family.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 14, 2018 in the McClain Cemetery with Joe Blackfox, Roger Jumper, Billy Smoke, John Knott, Junior Jumper, Cherokee Sharp serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Jeromy Miller and Heath Raze Proctor. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, 2018 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Garry is survived by his mother, Wilma Hazel Smith; brother, Mart Smith and wife Sarah Smith of Bluejacket, Oklahoma; sisters, Jannavee Smith of Disney, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by father, Robert Smith.
