Gary Bailey, 78, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on February 24, 1934 in Stilwell, Oklahoma, the son of Jasper Bailey and Mary (Walkingstick) Bailey. He faithfully served his Country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Sue Gullett on January 3, 1959 at Proctor, Oklahoma celebrating 53 years together this year. Gary worked for over 20 years for Business Controls where he also played baseball on the company team. He later went to work for Texaco Oil Company as a Printer, retiring from Texaco after many years of service. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and hunting. After retirement, Gary wrote short stories. He especially enjoyed pestering his friends and family. Gary was a member of the Amazing Grace Holiness Church in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Gary dearly loved his Lord, his family and many friends. Funeral Services for Gary will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the Amazing Grace Holiness Church in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, with Brothers, Wayne Holcomb, Floyd Parks and Carl Page officiating. Interment will follow in the Mose Ridge Cemetery at Topsy, Oklahoma with Military Honors. Casket Bearers will be Jason Rogers, Jared Gavit, Larry Gullett Jr., Jerry Reed, Mark Regenhard and Mike Schnake. Honorary Casket Bearers are Rodger Gavit, Ron Etheridge, Gene Bowen, Sam Goodman, Riley Goodman, Cliff Hewitt, Crawford Gullett, Don Gullett and Larry Gullett. Gary is survived by his wife, Sue of the home; his daughter, Lisa Mooney of Claremore, OK; his son, Gary Bailey Jr. (Beau) of Claremore, OK; three grandchildren, Melizsa Mooney, Kyle Bailey and Cheryl Bailey; three great grandchildren, Shaylin Mooney, Tiernie Dickman and Travor Ross. He was preceded by his parents, Jasper and Mary Bailey; son-in-law, Scott Mooney.
