Gary Ray Breshears, 54, of Pryor, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in Pryor. He was born on December 10, 1962 in Claremore, Oklahoma; the son of Jimmy and Janice (Smith) Breshears. Gary worked as a District Coach for Taco Bell for 25 years. He was currently an assistant basketball coach for Bradford Christian School, and over the years, coached many other teams. He took great pride in every athlete he coached and loved each and every one of them. Above all, Gary enjoyed coaching his son and daughters in basketball. Gary would teach his players with the motto "You win with class, and you lose with class." Gary also enjoyed playing golf and spending time outdoors. He loved his family and looked forward to each moment he had to spend with them. Gary was an exceptional man, who leaves an incredible legacy.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 16, 2017 in the First Church of God in Pryor with Brennan Segraves, Brian Bynam, and Donald Fails officiating. Burial will follow in the Graham Memorial Cemetery with Dale Roberson, David Gabriel, Paul Conn, Larry Whitlock, Jeff Fox, Matthew Breshears, Chuck Jaubert, and Michael Whitlock serving as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 15, 2017 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Gary is survived by his wife; Larissa Breshears of the home; son, Matthew Breshears of the home; daughters, Heather Breshears of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Courtney Breshears of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Whitney Breshears of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Alyssa Breshears of the home; mother, Janice Breshears of Claremore, Oklahoma; sister, Tina Hastings of Chelsea, Oklahoma; grandmother, Bessie Breshears of Chelsea, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Breshears.
