Gaye Cochran

Gaye Cochran, 56, of Salina, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 at her home. She was born on November 27, 1960 in Claremore, Oklahoma; the daughter of Betty Arthurs. She attended and graduated from Oaks Mission School, and went on to earn her Associates Degree in Business from Rogers State University. Gaye enjoyed playing softball and basketball in her younger years and looked forward to watching her children and grandchildren in sports and school events. She liked to listen to music, go to the creek and attend hog frys. Gaye loved life and was always smiling. She had a big personality and loved to spend time with those she loved most. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 17, 2017 in the Euwasha Baptist Church in Kenwood with Reverend Richard Budder officiating. Casket bearers will be Chris Snell, Randall Davis, Brandt Beaver, Caleb Meeker, Jacob Kingfisher, and Brad Davis. Honorary casket bearers will be Nick Alexander, Dakoda Davis, Peyton Glass, Christian Glass, Robert Cochran, Junior Wilson and KC Asher. Visitation and wake service will begin at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the home of Gaye Cochran, 202 N. Fountain, Salina, Oklahoma, and will go throughout the evening. Gaye is survived by her mother, Betty Arthurs of Salina, Oklahoma; sons, Sanford Glass, Jr of Salina, Oklahoma, Jason Glass of Cushing, Oklahoma, Tre'Le Glass of Salina, Oklahoma; daughters, Melia Glass and Randall Davis of Salina, Oklahoma, and Skyla Cochran of Salina, Oklahoma; brothers, Bo Arthurs of Salina, Oklahoma; sister, Dina Giles and husband Jeremy of Salina, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, William Cochran and grandmother, Nellie Cochran.
