Gaylen Whitaker

Gaylen Ray Whitaker, 61, of Salina, passed away on December 31, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on August 11, 1957 in Tulsa; the son of Burl and Nora Lee (Scroggins) Whitaker. He worked in the heating and air industry most of his life, working as a Heat and Air Technician. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, going fishing and hunting, and playing video games with his grandchildren. He leaves behind many memories for his family and friends to remember. Gaylen is survived by his son, Bryan Whitaker and wife Felecia of Oaks, Oklahoma; daughter, Tamara Whitaker of Florida; brothers, Terry Whitaker of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Monte Whitaker and wife Karen of Owasso, Oklahoma; sister, Diane Boffer of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren, Ayden James Whitaker, Kierstynn Elyzabeth Whitaker, Sophia Whitaker, and Layla Whitaker; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Burl Whitaker.
