Geneva Lee Ross, 88, of Salina, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born on August 6, 1933 in Pryor, Oklahoma; the daughter of Jessie James Ross and Ola May (Barnes) Ross. Geneva lived in California for many years and worked for the State of California, the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department, and at the McLellan Air Force Base. She loved arts and crafts and going shopping at flea markets. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who leaves behind many wonderful memories for her family and friends to cherish.
Services for Geneva will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 19, 2021, at Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Ross-Mayes Cemetery in Salina, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Shipman’s Funeral Home. Geneva is survived by her daughter, Cathie Krouse and husband Ronald of California; sister, Beverly Fox of Arizona; 4 grandchildren, Eric Hawkins, Rusty Krouse, Kevin Hawkins, and Jesse Martin; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Ola; brother, Harmon Ross, sisters, Wanda Anderson and Lola Morris; and daughter, Linda Martin.
