George Buck

George Buck, 45, of Tulsa, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. He was born on June 16, 1970 in Claremore, Oklahoma; the son of Henry and Virginia (Rabbit) Buck. George enjoyed the outdoors; especially when he was able to go fishing. He was a member of the Steeley Baptist Church in Salina, and looked forward to attending services and church events. He loved his family and enjoyed every minute he had to spend with them. He will be remembered by all the wonderful memories he leaves behind and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 2016 in the Steeley Baptist Church in Salina with Reverend Richard "Guy" Soldier officiating. Burial will follow in the Steeley Cemetery with Allen "Boo" Davidson, Anthony "Puddin" Davis, Rodney Lyman, Dennis Hilderbrand, Rodney Dagg, and Ronnie Dagg serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Gary Mouse, Derrick Buck and Eli James Buck. Visitation and wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, in the Steeley Baptist Church and will continue throughout the evening. George is survived by his mother, Virginia Buck of Oaks, Oklahoma; brother, James Chooge Buck of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sisters, Lisa Buck of Spokane, Washington, Melissa Buck of Salina, Oklahoma and Theresa Buck of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; nephew, Derrick Buck of Arizona; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Buck, wife, Josephine Nell, son, Frederick Eli Buck and grandmother, Sally Lacy.
