George Carpenter

George Bruce Carpenter, 77, of Park Hill, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was born May 14, 1944 in San Luis Obispo, California; the son of Vern and Bernadine Carpenter. He married Marion Manning in 1966 in Stockton, California. George worked as a pharmacist for many years at WW Hastings Hospital. George enjoyed cooking, especially smoking meat, spending time outdoors and going hunting in his younger years. He was also an avid gun collector and looked forward to spending time with his grandchild and great grandchild. George was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He leaves behind many memories for his family to cherish.

George is survived by his wife, Marion Carpenter of the home; daughter, Alicia Goyer and husband James of Adair, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Danielle Goyer and her fiancé Deryk Cameron and grandson Gabriel Goyer of Adair, Oklahoma; sisters, Ann Wallerstedt of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Mary Mackenzie of Des Moines, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vern and Bernadine Carpenter.
