George "Bud" Raymond Ford

George "Bud" Raymond Ford, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at his home, at the age of 72. He was born on September1, 1951, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to George and Lucille Ford.

A true family man, he found immense joy in being surrounded by his loved ones. His warm presence and caring nature touched the lives of many. Bud was known in his community for his willingness to lend a helping hand to neighbors in need.

His love for attending farm sales and visiting the sale barn was a testament to his down-to-earth personality and appreciation for simple pleasures. Throughout his life, Bud also contributed meaningfully to various boards. 

Bud is preceded in death by his parents, George and Lucille Ford; and sisters, Mary Alice Williams and Judy Bowman. He leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories for his surviving family members: his devoted wife, Patty Ford; sons, Stephen Jackson and Bryan Jackson and wife Stephanie; sister, Patty Baker; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 20, 2024, at the St. Mark Catholic Church in Pryor with Father Valentine officiating. Stephen Jackson, Bryan Jackson, Tanner Jackson, Ethan Jackson, Lane Jackson, and Reece Jackson will serve as honorary pallbearers.
