George Milton Lewis was born on September 26, 1954 at St. Johns Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. He passed from this life on September 10, 2014 with his mother, Uncle Marcel, and Aunt Helen Hudson by his side at Clare house in Tulsa, Oklahoma. George served in the Marines from High School; while in the Marines, he earned his Master's Degree. He faithfully served his country from 1973 - 1986, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant, E6. He studied computers in the Marines and was a computer programmer. After he was honorably discharged from the military, he moved to Austin, Texas to begin working for the Veteran's Administration. After he became ill, with the help of his co-workers, was moved to his home he planned to retire to. George loved boating and sailing, he looked forward to his lakeside home at Hunter Cover and wanted to learn how to catch fish like his Uncle, Mom and Grandma did. George was also interest in aviation and wanted to get involved with air patrol. George was always generous with charities and ready to give any in need. He leaves behind many memories and will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
