George Allen Million Sr.

George was born in O’Kean, Arkansas on June 3rd of 1943 to parents Dale and Norma Million. He left this life to go to his heavenly home on October 11, 2024.

George attended Randolph County Schools throughout his childhood. He was named after his Uncle Judge George Million of Pocahontas, Arkansas. He moved to Tulsa with his family in 1959. George married Billie Mitts on April 1, 1962. He worked making heat exchangers. He loved rock and roll and old country music. George loved to go fishing, and his favorite fishing partners were Tom and Anita Beavers. He loved his family and friends, and spending time with them.

George was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Lea Million, his parents Dale and Norma Million, his older brother James Leon Million, his younger brother Gary Bruce Million, his Grandparents Newt and Carrie Million, and Grandparents John and Ruth Barham.

He is survived by his sons, Allen Million and wife Halle, and Billy Million and wife Tiffany; daughter, Christina Gantz; grandchildren, Kyle Million, Jeremiah Gantz, Alexandria Plyler and husband Aaron, Hayden Million, Camryn Million, Corey Jones, Madison Heiden and husband Ryan, and Kaylin Smith; great grandchildren, Dazdyn Jones, Maverick Jones, and Charles Plyler; brother, Joel Don Million and wife Sandy; sister, Melinda Sue Johnson and husband Roger; and numerous nieces and nephews, whom are all from West Tulsa, Oklahoma. Forever this family’s gentle giant, you’ll always be missed by all of us.

Funeral services for George will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 18, 2024, at the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor with Pastor Jerold Pilant officiating. Interment will follow at the Spavinaw Strang Cemetery with Allen Million, Billy Million, Scott Million, Steve Million, Dave Million, Barry Million, Joel Million, and Roger Johnson serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will include his grandsons, Kyle Million, Jeremiah Gantz, Hayden Million, and Corey Jones. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Shipman’s Funeral Home in Pryor.
