Geraldine Hazel Helton, 88, of Muldrow, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at her home. She was born on May 25, 1934, in Sperry, Oklahoma; the daughter of Earl and Hazel (Gaynor) Wilson. She dedicated her life tending to her home and taking care of her family. She liked to spend time outside, especially when it came to fishing. She loved to bake and enjoyed traveling. She loved life and lived it to the absolute fullest. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She leaves behind many memories for all to cherish and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, August 22, 2022, at the Graham Memorial Cemetery in Pryor with Father Phil Amobi. She is survived by her sons, Lewis “Buddy” Helton of Catoosa, and Larry Helton and wife Teresa of Owasso; daughters, Kathy Deeter and husband Jack of Haskell, Oklahoma, and Terry Edwards of Muldrow; sisters, Shirley Moon of Plano, Texas, and Pamela Childers and husband Howard of Inola, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild and one on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Hazel; husband, Lewis Everett Helton; sisters, Mary Planchart and Rose Marie Nelson; brother, Earl Wilson; and grandchildren, Jack Edward Deeter lll, Jeremy Lewis Deeter, Jason Colin Deeter, and Brady Cane Edwards.
