Gilmer "Chuck" Harold Ogg, Jr. 55, of Pryor, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015 in Follansbee, West Virginia. He was born on January 10, 1960 in Plattsburgh, New York; the son of Gilmer H. Ogg, Sr. and Theresa M. (Brown) Ogg. Chuck was an interesting and hard working man; he always had intriguing facts to tell you about. He married Beverly McGough on November 10, 1990 in Portage, Pennsylvania; and together raised 3 wonderful sons, Matt, Josh and Ryan. He worked Pipeline Construction all over the United States and worked in other countries including Russia, Algeria, Indonesia, Trinidad and Tobago. Chuck had worked for many pipeline companies, and was presently working for Associated Pipeline as a Tie-In Foreman and recently worked for Appalachian Pipeline in Hendersonville, Tennessee. He had worked pipeline construction for 37 years and was very knowledgeable of his profession. He was a member of many organizations, such as, International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 627, Pipeliners Union 798 of Tulsa, and Laborers Local 1686 of Helena, Montana, Elks Lodge and the Knights of Columbus. Chuck lived in the Pryor area for 39 years, coming from the Chazy, New York area. He was a member of St. Marks Catholic Church in Pryor. Chuck never met a stranger and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. A Funeral Mass for Chuck will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in the St. Marks Catholic Church with burial following in the Graham Memorial Cemetery with Matthew Ogg, Joshua Ogg, Ryan Ogg, Rick Ogg, and Mark Ogg serving pall bearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2015 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Chuck is survived by his wife, Beverly Ogg of the home; sons, Matthew Ogg, Joshua Ogg and Ryan Ogg of the home; brothers, Rick Ogg and wife Patricia of Pryor, Oklahoma and Mark Ogg and wife Joanne of Pryor, Oklahoma; and sister, Lisa Fraley and husband Chuck of Pryor, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gilmer and Theresa Ogg.
