Glenna Shoun

Glenna Mae Shoun, 82, longtime resident of Tulsa, passed away on Feb. 3, 2011 in Claremore, Oklahoma. The daughter of John Allen Savina (Holder) Whitley, Glenna was born on November 12, 1928 in Swifton, AR. Glenna married Mr. Charles Shoun in 1977 at Tulsa, Oklahoma, he preceded her in death in 1999. Glenna worked as a Hostess at the Borden's Cafeteria for many years. Most of all she was a homemaker who loved to cook, read and take care of her family. She was of the Church of Christ Faith and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services for Glenna will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 5, 2011 in the Shipman's Funeral Chapel in Pryor, Oklahoma with Reverend Andrew Rehbein officiating. Burial will be in the Graham Memorial Cemetery in Pryor. Survivors include her son David Jackson wife Liz of Pryor, OK; 3-stepsons, Charles (Chip) Shoun Jr. wife Robyn of Catoosa, OK, Michael Shoun wife Sandy of Tulsa, OK and Alan Shoun of Verdigris, OK; her daughters; Sharron Carrick husband Roy of Muskogee, OK and Sheila Lowery of Pryor, OK; step-daughter, Elieen Kopin of Tulsa, OK; her brother, Bill Whitley of Mountain View, AR; her sister, Wanda Eckiss of Foristell, MO. Glenna was preceded in death also by her parents, and 1-sister Judy Johnson.
