Harold Wayne Langley, Sr., 70, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Harold was born on January 20, 1941 in Afton, Oklahoma, the son of Homer Lonzo Langley, Sr. and Tisha Clara (Watts) Langley. He grew up and attended school in Afton. Harold began working for the Frisco Railroad in 1964, retiring in 1977. He then worked for Port Duncan Home Owners Association as their Security Guard at Monkey Island. Harold was married to Claudie F. Coulson on February 14, 1985 in Adair, Oklahoma. They moved to Pryor from Adair in 1988. Harold will be so very missed by all who knew and loved him. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Sixkiller Cemetery at Afton, Oklahoma with Reverend Thomas Ballard officiating. The family asks that memorials may be made to the Thomas J. Harrison Public Library Literacy Program. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. He is survived by his sons, Homer Langley of Afton, OK, Johnny Langley of Blue Jacket, OK, Harold Langley Jr.and wife, Jessica of Norman, OK; his daughter, Lorena and husband, David Mullin of Afton, OK; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; his brother, Ronald and wife, Colleen Langley of Pryor, OK; a host of other relatives and friends. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Claudie; two daughters; three grandchildren; four brothers; two sisters and his parents.
