Hattie Westfall left this life on April 10 at 1:21 p.m. to join her husband in heaven. Hattie was born December 26, 1929 to Jim and Maude Carter in Park Hill, Oklahoma. She was 94 years old. Hattie was a lifetime resident of Mayes County, except the few years she spent growing up around Keys, Park Hill Mountain, down around Tahlequah. She and her husband, James built their dream home outside of Adair, forty three years ago. They loved it. She was a loveable and caring person. Her family was everything to her. She will be missed by everyone. She was proud of the five generations in her family. She is survived by her son, Bill and wife Beverly of Guthrie; three grandchildren, Dwayne and wife Pam of Guthrie, Janis Allen of Guthrie, and John of Midwest City; six great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren; one brother, Don Carter of Catoosa; two sisters, Dorothy Gross of Catoosa, and Theresa and husband Bob Chatfield of Ada. She had nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, her parents, one brother, one sister, two brothers - in - laws, two sister - in - laws, and two grandchildren. Funeral services for Hattie will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in the Shipman‘s Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Buffalo officiating. Interment will be in the Chouteau West Cemetery with Dwayne Westfall, John Westfall, Dale Gross, James Ballew, Ben Yoder, and David Ballew serving as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel.
