Hazel Fraley

Hazel Merle Fraley, 92, of Adair, departed from this life on Friday, May 7, 2021 in Claremore, Oklahoma. She was born on February 24, 1929 in Alfalfa, Oklahoma; the daughter of John Scott and Docia (Clark) Scott. Hazel attended Central State University in Edmond, where she received her bachelor’s degree in education. She married Therman Fraley, Jr. in Jay, Oklahoma on November 30, 1957. Hazel retired from Adair Public Schools after teaching for over 35 years. In her pastime, she enjoyed reading and traveling.

Hazel is survived by her son, Don Fraley of Adair; daughter, Phyllis Sordahl and husband Fred of Pryor; grandchildren, Sandra Tucker and husband Ryan, Rachel Sordahl, Sarah Littledave and husband Lucien; and great grandchild, Sierra Tucker. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Docia; husband, Therman; and brothers, Leon, Franklin, and Albert Scott.
