Helen Daniels

Helen Sue Daniels, 82, of Salina, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Mayes County Medical Center in Pryor. She was born on July 16, 1928 in Vinita, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lee White and Linda J. (Tiger) White. She married John P. Daniels on July 29, 1954 at Vinita, Oklahoma. She enjoyed beadwork. Helen also enjoyed fishing and cooking for her family. Helen was a lovely woman of God who was very devoted to reading God's word and prayer. She dearly loved her family and especially her grandbabies. Helen was a kind, special lady who will be so very missed by all whose lives she touched. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 23, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Ribbon Baptist Church with Reverend Lloyd Boney officiating. Interment will follow in the Jack Ribbon Cemetery in Spavinaw, Oklahoma with Timothy White, Derrick White, Mark Loco, Joel Hair, Timothy Turner and Bill Rice serving as casketbearers. Honorary Casketbearer is Kyler Hair. Visitation is set for Sunday afternoon from 2-5 p .m. at the funeral home. She is survived by her son, Gifford and wife, Karen Daniels of Salina, OK; daughter-in-law, Vivian Hair of Salina, OK; son-in-law, Ed Mallon of Chicago, IL; sister, Marjorie White of Kenwood, OK; six grandchildren, Brandon and wife, Carrie, Brady, Jamie, Jennifer, Kyle and wife, Sheila and Colleen; six great grandchildren, Kevin, Kyler, Laney, Kate, Landon, Jack and Chaney; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Linda White; husband, John Daniels; infant daughter; one son, Jess Hair; one daughter, Mona Mallon; five brothers, Argil, Charles, Sam, John, and Dean White; two sisters, Carolyn Rolland and Ina Romero.
