Helen Ingle

Helen Marie Ingle, 65, of Salina, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 in Tulsa. She was born on January 23, 1953 in Claremore, Oklahoma; the daughter of Elmer and Mary (Sullateskee) Panther. She worked as a supervisor for Cherokee Nation for over 37 years. She had a strong work ethic and her passion in life, was her family, church and her job at Cherokee Nation. Helen enjoyed reading and playing dominoes. She was proud of being a Domino champion.  She was a member of Blue Springs Church in Salina and enjoyed going to services and attending church events. She looked forward to spending any moments she had with her grandchildren and visiting with her family. She leaves behind many beautiful memories for her friends and family to remember.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in the Blue Springs Church in Salina with Reverend Lorne Beck officiating. Burial will follow in the Ross – Mayes Cemetery in Salina with Puddin Ingle, Chad Taylor, Mark Hitchcock, Dusty Ingle, Jace Squirrel, and Spencer Kingfisher serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Ruth Sullateskee, Dodie Taylor, Whitley Pickup, Linda Vernon, Charlotte Buchanan, Vicky Keen, Cheryl Hart, Elmer Panther, and Lawrence Panther. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 26, 2018 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Helen is survived by her daughter, Melissa Scott and husband Gary of Salina, Oklahoma; brother, Dale Panther of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; sisters, Anita Panther of Salina, Oklahoma and Lawana Mancina and husband Frankie of California; grandsons, Tye Scott and girlfriend Rachel of Locust Grove, Oklahoma and Garrett Scott and girlfriend, Jessica of Pryor, Oklahoma; great granddaughter, Tylee Scott. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mary Panther; brother, Willie Panther and sister, Sharon Panther.
