Helen Miller

Helen Vanda Miller, 85, of Pryor, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019 in Pryor. She was born on October 21, 1933 in Salina; the daughter of Jeff and Jettie (Murphy) Thompson. Helen was a Graduate of the Salina Class of 1951. She worked for many years as an Administrative Assistant for Carborandum in Pryor. She married John V. Miller on August 20, 1980 in Miami, Oklahoma. Helen had a love for babies and children. She also loved her church and her church family. She leaves behind many wonderful memories for her family to cherish and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 3, 2019 in the Fairview Cemetery in Pryor with Reverend Anna Hubbard officiating. Helen is survived by her son, Barry Miller and wife Tammy of Pryor, Oklahoma; brother, Bob Thompson; sister, Pauline Wise of Pryor, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Miller; parents, Jeff and Jettie Thompson; son, Jeff Weaver; daughter, Peggy Webster; brothers, Lee and Bill Thompson; and sisters, Jessie Thompson and Estella Selman.
