Helene Lankford, 73, of Big Cabin, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on March 24, 1940; the daughter of John and Josephine (Riggins) Ralston. Helene enjoyed gardening and flowers. She loved spending time outdoors. She also enjoyed cooking and especially baking. She was very proud to be a two time cancer survivor. She loved her family and spending time with those who meant most to her. She loved every minute with her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for all the wonderful memories she leaves behind and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial services will be held at10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 7, 2014 in the Exciting Southeast Baptist Church with Reverend Rob Pierce officiating. Helene is survived by her son, Michael Raisor of Catossa, Oklahoma; 2 daughters, Deann Chamberlain of Big Cabin, Oklahoma and Jackie and husband Joseph Harvilla of Carlisle, Pennsylvania; 2 brothers, Star Ralston of Alabama and Edward and wife Tina Ralston of Tennessee; 3 sisters, Sybil Fizter of Georgia, Mable Weeks of Georgia and Sue Solomon of Georgia; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Josephine Ralston and 4 brothers.
