Henryetta Lyman

Henryetta Lyman, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023, in Grove, Oklahoma. Born on July 1, 1962, in Claremore, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Louie Lyman and Agnes Budder. She was fluent Cherokee Speaker whose was proud of her heritage and embraced the language, culture and values in her everyday life. Henryetta was known for her vibrant personality and her love for the outdoors. She found enjoyment swimming at the creek and cherished family outings that brought everyone together. In her spare time, she enjoyed puzzles, coloring, and beadwork. 

Her proudest accomplishment was her role as a devoted mother to her four children. As a loving grandmother, Henryetta found joy in the company of her grandchildren - Haylei, Jaryn, Erika, Evelyn, Hannah, Cole, Jastin, Levi, Jaxtin, Ireland, Jack, Axen and Joirnilyn. She also has one great grandchild on the way. 

Henryetta was preceded in death by her parents Louie Lyman and Agnes Budder, as well as by her sister Eldean Lyman. Their memories will forever be held close by those who loved them.

She is survived by her significant other of many years, Arlen D. Favinger of Grove, OK. Henryetta's legacy also lives on through her sons Floyd Taylor and wife Karen of Miami, OK; Cody Taylor of Tahlequah, OK; daughters, Alana Taylor of Stilwell, OK, Taryn Taylor of Tahlequah, OK, Sara Ehrlich and husband James of Ellis, KS and Amy Favinger of Hill City, KS.

Henryetta is also survived by a large extended family who will miss her dearly. Her brothers Edwin Lyman, Jason Lyman, and Gilford Lyman, all of Kenwood, OK, and Cooper Lyman and wife Hootie of Salina, OK; as well as her sisters, Lillie Lyman of Salina, OK, and Anna Lara of Cotulla, Texas.
