Hubert Greenway

Hubert Greenway, 82, of Pryor passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011. Hubert was born September 7, 1928 at St. James, Arkansas, the son of Herman and Ola (Hester) Greenway. He retired from National Gypsum Company. Hubert enjoyed gardening and raising his cattle. He married Anna Mae Roberts on July 5, 1952, who preceded him in death in April of 2006. Hubert loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be so very missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 21, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the First Free Will Baptist Church in Pryor, Oklahoma with Reverend Jerold Pilant officiating. The family will greet friends from 4:30 until 6:30 pm on Sunday evening. Interment will follow in the Graham Memorial Cemetery with Chris Eubanks, Danny Casto, Jack Cooper, Dale Willis, Loyd Arthur, and Melvin Pritchett serving as casket bearers. Honorary bearers will include John Mozingo, Lyndel Hall, Dub Willis, Lenis Stafford, Delbert Eichleburger, and Doyle Pierce. Survivors include his brother, Bennie Greenway of Hartshorne, Oklahoma; 2 sisters; Velma Cowan of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, and Thelma Hagar of Chouteau; 1 Grandson, Chris Greenway; 1 Granddaughter, Amanda Greenway; many other relatives and friends . He was preceded in death by his son Tony Greenway; 3 sisters, Audie Loffer , Jimmie Jean Henderson and Norma Hickok; his parents, Herman and Ola Greenway.
