Jack Payton

Jack Payton, 76, of Strang, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2012 in Pryor, Oklahoma. He was born on April 16, 1935 in Disney, Oklahoma, the son of John L. Payton and Blanch L. (Dean) Payton. Jack faithfully served his Country in the United States Army. Jack married Novalee Duncan in Dewey, Oklahoma. He worked as a supervisor and machinist for CRC Manufacturing before retiring. Jack enjoyed fishing, hunting and just being outdoors. He will be so very missed by all who knew and loved him. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Shipman's Funeral Cremation Service. No Services are planned at this time. Jack us survived by his son, John E. Payton; his daughter, Makala Payton; brothers, Raydean L. Payton, Richard Payton, Jarry A. Payton and James Payton; his sisters, Juanita Mason, Oleatha Crabtree and Betty Lowery; one grandson; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Blanch Payton and one brother, Donald Payton.
