Jack Starr

Jack Starr, 79, of Muskogee, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at his home. He was born on April 7, 1942 in Houston, Texas; the son of Caleb Starr and Minnie (Beaver) Starr. Jack worked as a welder most of his life, working on barges. He enjoyed fishing, boating, tinkering on his land, and working on cars. Jack also looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren. He was a wonderful father, brother and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial services will be held at Jack’s Residence at 8001 S. 24th Street West Muskogee, Oklahoma 74401 at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 18, 2021. Jack is survived by his daughters, Brenda Stephens and husband Jimmy of Pryor, Oklahoma, Jody Batman of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Jackie Starr of Modesto, California, Tammy Davenport and husband Toby of Pryor, Oklahoma and Delinda Starr and husband Glen Brock of Verdigris, Oklahoma; sister, Wallie Guy of Pryor, Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren; and 31 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Caleb and Minnie Starr; brother, Leroy Starr; and sisters, Patsy White and Nellie Hunt.
