James Orville Boswell, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 72. His departure leaves a void in our hearts, but his memory will forever be cherished by those who were lucky enough to know him. Born on July 24, 1951, James brought joy and laughter wherever he went. His warm smile and gentle nature touched the lives of countless people. He was a man of many passions and interests, finding peace in the simple pleasures of life. Fishing was his escape, a way to connect with nature and find peace of mind. He would spend hours by the lake, casting his line with skillful precision. Camping was another favorite pastime for James. He adored being surrounded by the beauty of nature and immersing himself in its tranquility. Family reunions and picnics at the lake became cherished traditions for James and his loved ones; moments that brought them closer together as they shared laughter and created memories that will last a lifetime. James had a talent for refurbishing old furniture. He possessed a keen eye for detail as he stripped away the years from worn-out pieces, breathing new life into them with his skilled craftsmanship. Each finished project bore witness to his dedication and love for preserving history through wood. For over forty years, James worked as a truck driver—a profession that not only provided for his family but also allowed him to explore new places. The open road became a second home to him as he navigated both highways and backroads with confidence and pride. On September 14, 1973, James embarked on a lifelong journey of love when he married Donna Peckenpaugh in Pryor. Together they built a beautiful life filled with unconditional love and unwavering support. Their bond served as an inspiration to all who knew them—a testament to the power of love and partnership.
