James Crumm

James Edwin "Jim" Crumm, 81, of Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jim was born on September 28, 1929 in Delaware County, Oklahoma, the son of Levi Crumm and Lottie Bell (Cole) Crumm. Jim faithfully served his Country in the United States Army. He retired from Commercial Fabricators, working there as a machinist. Jim was a member of the Westside Holiness Church in Claremore, Oklahoma. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors. He also enjoyed gardening. Jim leaves behind many wonderful memories for his family to cherish. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Shipman's Funeral Chapel with Reverends Travis Martin, Darrell Meadows, Gary Hampton and Marty Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Kansas Cemetery in Kansas, Oklahoma with John Metcalf, Danny Mallory, Dustin Wright, Cody Taylor, Brian Hough and Kevin Hough serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday evening. Jim is survived by his wife, Georgia Helen Page Crumm of Claremore, OK; two daughters, Jeanne and husband, John Metcalf of Tulsa, OK and Raelynn Mallory of Tulsa, OK; three step-daughters, Odessa Parks and husband, Ron of Chelsea, OK, Glena and Travis Eubanks of Claremore, OK and LaQuieta and husband, Robert Sheffield of Mt. Carmel, IL; one brother, Bobby Crumm of Pryor, OK; three sisters, Sadie Mason of Tulsa, OK, Billie Holden of Tulsa, OK and Etalca Lamont of Fayetteville, AR; 4 granddaughters; 6 great grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren and 7 step-great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, CoraLee Crumm; parents, Levi and Lottie Bell (Cole) Crumm; three brothers, Leroy, Nathaniel and Wayne Crumm, infant brother, Elbert Neal; three sisters, Geneva Caldwell, Virginia Mahan and Christine Hunt.
