James "Jim" Bell

James “Jim” Raymond Bell, 60, was born on January 5, 1961 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Charles and Janice (Smith) Bell. Jim departed this life on Friday, March 19, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. When Jim was younger he enjoyed playing softball and fishing. Jim spent lots of time visiting his family and friends. Jim was very close with his nephews Brandon and Charles. Jim and Brandon were together since Brandon was born. They hung out all the time like two peas in a pod, lol. If you seen one, the other was not far behind. Brandon thought the world of his Uncle Jim, he loved him dearly and will miss him very much. Charles and Jim were good buds, they hung out all the time and had so much fun together. He loved his family and friends dearly. Jim is survived by his 3 sisters, Janith Vargas and husband Roger, Maxine Best and husband Gary, and Mildred Greer; along with numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Janice Bell, Grandparents Max and Nona Smith, and his brother John Bell.

Funeral Services for Jim will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 26, 2021 at the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Benge Cemetery in Strang, Oklahoma.
