Jamie Arlene Floyd, 46, of Adair, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, in Tulsa. She was born on November 30, 1976, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Andrew and Glenda (Martin) Floyd. Jamie attended school at Pryor and later moved to Adair where she graduated high school with the class of 1995. She was her Uncle G's buddy and loved attending school functions and ballgames. She dedicated 15 years of her time volunteering at Salina Public Schools. Bunco was one of her favorite games to play and she did so for 20 years; loving, laughing, and living her best life with her friends. The Special Olympics was very dear to her as she participated for many years and obtained numerous medals throughout that time. She was a member of the Tulsa Moose Lodge and Women of the Moose with her sister and loved to travel and enjoy shenanigans with her sister and friends. No matter the destination, she took every opportunity she could to jump in the car and go somewhere. More than anything, she loved going to church and often attended Greenbriar Free Will Baptist, Adair First Baptist, and NorthStar in Pryor. She was well known to light up a room and was adored by anyone she encountered. Leaving behind many memories, she will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
The family requests that anyone attending the service wear apparel that includes Eskimo Joes, Oklahoma State University, or Adair Public Schools as those were Jamie's favorites.
