Janice Garrett

Janice Elaine Garrett 67 of Claremore passed away Tuesday October 30, 2012 in Claremore. She was born February 5, 1945, the daughter of Robert and Beatrice "Hettlinger" Garrett. She worked for Timex Corporation, until moving to Oklahoma in 1982. Janice was a kind and giving person who would help anyone even if she didn't really have it herself. She dearly loved her nieces and nephews to whom she was affectionately known as AJ or AA. She also kept her care givers and case workers on their toes, never letting them get away with anything or she was on them. She enjoyed playing bingo. She loved her dogs, they were her constant companions. She will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday November 2, 2012 in the Oakhaven Memorial Gardens in Claremore, OK with the Reverend Vernon Voth officiating. Survivors include her sister Patricia Cooke of Gann's OK; Nieces, Kristen Watson husband Junior of Bradley, OK; Deanna Morrison of Coweta, OK; Stephanie Morrison; Nephew's, Erick Morrison, Littleton, Co. Richard Morrison wife Darcy of Sallisaw, OK; David Scott Morrison of Tulsa, OK; David Michael Morrison Sallisaw, OK, Sammy and Raymond Cason; Great Nieces, Breanna Morrison , Jalissa McCoy, Rachael McClanahan, Misty Rutherford. Great Nephew's, Kyle and wife, Rachel Phillips, Jason Phillips. She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew Robbie Morrison.
