Jay Gene Woolman, 48, of Claremore, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020 at his home. He was born on April 18, 1972 in Fort Smith, Arkansas; the son of Milton and Norma (Howell) Woolman. He spent most of his life working as a loader operator and he loved to work on different pieces of equipment. He was a wonderful mechanic and loved working with his hands. Jay also enjoyed spending time outdoors and going fishing. He leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jay is survived by his sons, Dakota Nelson and Fiancé Jessi Hamill of Adair, Oklahoma and Colby Thornton and wife Abbrie of Porum, Oklahoma; twin brother, Ray Woolman of Chouteau, Oklahoma, James Colbert and wife Jackie of Pryor, Oklahoma; Terry Woolman of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, and Milt Woolman and Margaret of Pryor, Oklahoma; sister, Rhonda West of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Norma Woolman; brother, Joe Woolman, sisters, Pam West and Kathy West; and his grandparents.
