Jeanie Morris

Jeanie Sue Morris, 49, of Pryor, passed away on January 30, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on November 22, 1972 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma; the daughter of Harold and Carolyn (Harrell) Carter. Jeanie married Todd Morris on December 31, 1991 and have just celebrated 30 years of marriage. She worked as an L.P.N. for over 20 years. Jeanie spent her nursing career at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Chouteau, Colonial Terrace Nursing Home in Pryor, and served as Director of Avondale Assisted Living in Pryor for the past 8 years. She loved people and always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Jeanie was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend and leaves behind many memories for her family to remember.

Jeanie is survived by her husband, Todd Morris of the home; sons, Kellon Duncan and Dillon Duncan of the home; daughters, Janet Morris of Pryor, Oklahoma and Bailey Duncan of the home; mother and father-in-law, Carol Davis and husband Les of Pryor, Oklahoma; special niece, Ashley Morrison of Langley, Oklahoma; special friends, Davina Jordan of Pryor, Oklahoma and Shelly Drywater of Pryor, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her biological parents, Harold and Carolyn Carter and her adoptive parents, Jimmy and Linda (Harrell) Owens.
