Jeannie Kay Ball - Brown, 59, of Pryor, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014 in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born on July 14, 1954 in Helena, Montana; the daughter of Jack and Mary Ann (Gates) Ball. Jeannie loved to spend time outdoors and going fishing. She played Pitch, Rummy, Bingo and other games with her family and friends. Jeannie loved to laugh and made friends easily with everyone she came in contact with. She had lunch once a week with her aunts and looked forward to her time with them. She was a member of the Our Oasis Baptist Church in Pryor. Jeannie loved her Lord and her church. Above all, she loved her family and grandchildren. She cherished every moment she had to spend time with each and every one of them. She was a wonderful woman who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2014 in the Our Oasis Baptist Church in Pryor, Oklahoma with Reverend Jesse Rowland and John D. Mozingo officiating. Interment will be in the Ross - Mayes Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 24, 2014 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Jeannie is survived by her husband, Richard Brown of the home; 1 daughter, JaLinda and husband Joe Steele of Stillwater, Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren, Jayden and Jessi Steele; 2 brothers, Jackie and wife Brenda Ball of Salina, Oklahoma and Harold and wife Bonnie Ballard of Woodall, Oklahoma; sister in law, Churbie Ball of Salina, Oklahoma; niece, Brianna and husband Kelly Roley of Norman, Oklahoma; nephews, Bub and wife DeAnna Ball of Salina, Oklahoma, Ryan and wife Mallory Ball of Salina, Oklahoma, Garrett and wife Mylea Ball of Salina, Oklahoma, J.T Ball of Salina, Oklahoma; special friend, Linda Dixon of Pryor, Oklahoma . She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mary Ann Ball; brother, Bryan Ball and sister - in-law, Diane Ball.
