Jeannine (Stites) Vanover, 79, of Adair, departed this life on Friday, March 27, 2020 in Adair, Oklahoma. She was born on January 15, 1941; the daughter of David Lee and Mattie Lou (England) Stites. Jeannine was a member of Utopia Baptist Church. She was a fabulous cook and enjoyed having friends and family over to spend time with them. Jeannine had a love for cats. When she was younger, she spent a lot of time in her garden and enjoyed tending to her vegetables. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild and leaves behind a legacy for them all to cherish. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Graveside services for Jeannine will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., at Adair Cemetery with Pastor Kelly Chronister officiating. Jeannine is survived by her sons, Sam Vanover and wife Sherrie of Adair, Oklahoma, and David Vanover of Houston, Texas; brother, Jerry Stites of Adair, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Ryan Vanover, Seth Vanover, and Eli Vanover; great grandchild, Melanie Vanover; special friends, Jamie Morrison, Shirley Mann, and Larry and Pat Eby; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Dwight; parents, David and Mattie Stites; 2 brothers, Dale Stites and Ronnie Stites; 2 sisters in laws, Nadine Stites and Nancy Stites.
