Jerry Jones

Jerry Lee Jones was born on December 29, 1937 in Collinsville, OK. He passed away on Sunday March 21, 2010 in Pryor at the age of 72 years. Jerry was the son of Jessie Lloyd Jones Verna Mae Hudelson . He had served in the U.S. Air Force and had lived in Spavinaw for the past 12 years moving here from Tulsa. He was serving as the Mayor of Spavinaw and was the Commander of the American Legion Post # 192 of Spavinaw. He attended college at Tahlequah, and was married to BeJuanita Collins on August 28, 1998 in Eureka Springs, AR. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, Karoke, and NASCAR, but most of all being with family and friends. A Memorial service will be held on Saturda, March 27, 2010, at 1:00 P.M. in the American Legion Post #192 in Spavinaw. Three daughters: Jerri Lee Thompson husband Curtis of Sapulpa, OK, Christian Albertson husband Dan of Broken Arrow, OK, Leslie Peterson husband Robert of Tulsa, OK. 1-Step-son: Tommy Collins of Stilwell, OK, 2-Step-daughters; Debbie Hawk of Stilwell, OK, Shellie Collins of Siloam Springs, AR. 8-Grandchildren, 7-Step Grandchildren, 4- Step Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
