He was born on May 26, 1946 in Aline, Oklahoma, the son of Raymond Stanley (Jack) McNickle and Wilma Juanita (Swiggart) McNickle. He faithfully served his Country in the United States Navy. Jerry married Lelia Ross Parsons McNickle on June 10, 1978 in Searcy, Arkansas. Together they combined their families making a wonderful life. He owned and operated McNickle The Locksmith, as a Certified Master Locksmith until his retirement. He was a member of the Associated Locksmiths of America, Oklahoma Master Locksmith Association and numerous other locksmith associations, supporting professional education worldwide. Jerry lived in Tulsa for 25 years before moving to the lake for the next 21 years. He enjoyed boating, four wheeling, fishing and camping. Jerry enjoyed photography and going on cruises with Lelia. He also enjoyed genealogy and participated extensively supporting Leadership Training for Christ and gifting Bibles. Jerry worked hard and played even harder. He taught his family that if no one gets hurt (mostly Julie) then you aren't playing hard enough.
