Jerry DeWayne Morgan, a man of many talents and a true jack of all trades, has passed away at the age of 67. Born on December 29, 1955, in Pryor, Oklahoma, Jerry lived a life full of hard work and dedication to his craft. On November 1, 2023, passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma, finally forcing him into retirement and leaving behind a legacy that will forever be cherished. Jerry's career spanned many years as a plumber for over 35 years at American Airlines. His expertise in this field made him an invaluable asset to the company and those he worked with. But Jerry's ambition went beyond being a plumber - he was also known for owning and operating various businesses throughout his life. With each venture, he showcased his entrepreneurial spirit and determination. Outside the realm of work, Jerry found joy in raising cattle and tending to his farm. Jerry also looked forward to playing dominoes and watching the news and old western movies. Jerry's love for work was evident in every aspect of his life. He approached every task with an unwavering commitment and an exceptional work ethic that inspired those around him. Whether it was fixing a leaking pipe or tending to his cattle on his farm, Jerry put his heart and soul into everything he did. Beyond his career achievements and bustling work life, Jerry cherished one thing above all else - family. Throughout his life, Jerry took pride in being a pillar of strength for his loved ones. He was blessed with a house full of girls, and he embraced every moment spent supporting them. Whether it was cheering on his wife during her various career endeavors or attending his children's sporting events, Jerry never missed an opportunity to show his unwavering dedication. His presence on the sidelines of soccer matches, softball games, and swimming competitions served as a constant reminder of his love and encouragement. Jerry's devotion extended beyond athletics; he took great joy in witnessing his children excel academically and achieve their goals and dreams. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed going for a trip to Braums or Buddy's Restaurant in Claremore. Music was important to Jerry, although he loved all types of music, he especially loved Christmas music. His warm smile, infectious laughter, and nurturing and jolly nature made him not only a loving husband but also a cherished father, doting grandfather, great grandfather, and loyal friend. Jerry Morgan leaves behind a void that will be felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy as a hardworking, compassionate, and devoted man will continue to inspire and guide us all.
