Jerry Forrest Qualls, 82, of Pryor, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in Pryor, Oklahoma. He was born on October 19, 1932 in Pryor, Oklahoma; the son of Forrest and Edith (Billings) Qualls. Jerry graduated from Draughon School of Business in 1952. He taught accounting classes at Northeastern Votech during the 1980's, and also had his real estate license. Jerry enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, and visiting and telling stories to his friends and family. He also looked forward to watching his grandson wrestle. Jerry loved his family and cherished each moment he had to spend with them. He was a member of the Westside Freewill Baptist church in Pryor and was a lifelong resident here. He was a Christian man, who has gone on to be with his Lord and Savior. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 2, 2015 in the Westside Freewill Baptist Church with Reverend Andy Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in the Graham Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m., until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 1, 2015 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Jerry is survived by his daughter, Connie and husband Jerry of Coweta, Oklahoma and step- daughter, Cathy Pierce of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; sister, Maxine Stamps of Pryor, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren, Kristen, Casey, Alan, Stephanie, and Craig; 4 great grandchildren, Daniel, Chase, Kinley, and Brandt; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Joyce; and 2 sisters, Mary Ethyl Qualls and Etta Lee Haworth.
