Jerry Willman

Jerry Wayne Willman, 51, of Salina, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at his home in Salina. He was born on March 7, 1966 in Pryor; the son of John Eddie and Lorene (Cochran) Willman. He graduated High School and went on to attend the Univerity of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Theater Arts. Jerry looked forward to attending Rocklahoma each year. Jerry's passion was raising money for Neurofibromatosis, each year he would travel and participate in the Cupid Undie Run and attended other events to support the cause. He loved to travel. Jerry never met a stranger and enjoyed visiting with friends and family and spending time with those he loved most. He leaves behind many wonderful memories that will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in the Blue Springs Church in Salina with Reverend Lorne Beck officiating. Honorary casket bearers will be Patrick Hendrick, Keith Hendrick, Aaron Hendrick, Wesley Arneecher, John Arneecher, and Brett Shamblin. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Jerry is survived by his brother, David Arneecher and wife Arlene of Salina, Oklahoma; sisters, Sandra Hendrick and husband Donald of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Liz Patton and husband Dub of Longview, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, that he loved so much; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lorene and John Willman and sister, Johnna Chambers.
