Jessica Rachel’ Miller, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on March 10, 2024. Her passing leaves a void in the lives of her family and friends.
Jessica was born to her parents, David Johnson Sr. and Shirley Thompson, on December 13, 1973, in Pryor, Oklahoma. Known for her caring and giving nature, she loved to help anyone who needed help. She would give what she could and especially enjoyed helping with Christmas gifts for those children who may have been less fortunate than her own. Her selfless nature was also shown through her devotion to the Cabin Creek Fire Department where she volunteered for 10 years.
One of her love languages was food, she loved to cook for her family friends, as it was a way to express how much they meant to her. Spending time with her family was one of her greatest pastimes. You can bet there were memories to be made and fun to be had when they were all together. She married the love of her life, Jason Miller, on April 25, 2003, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. They built a loving and happy home together for the last 21 years. Her love and faith in God, was of the utmost importance to her.
Left behind to honor Jessica’s memory are her husband, Jason Miller; sons, William Brian "Brye" Johnson of Spavinaw, Michael Lane Miller of the home; stepchildren that she loved as her own, Steven Zakk Miller of Langley, Skylar Jay Hefley and husband Matthew of Langley; grandsons, Iverson Hawk Hefley and Adler Banks Hefley; father David Johnson Sr. and wife Connie Johnson of Colcord; brothers, David Johnson Jr. and wife Joyce of Spavinaw, Darrick Johnson of Colcord; sister, Veronica Hubbard and husband Frank of Jay; Don Miller and wife Ramona of Big Cabin (Mom and Dad Miller); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Thompson; paternal grandparents, George and Lela Johnson; and maternal grandparents, Boyd and Della Thompson.
