Jessica Marie Spencer, 44, of Peggs, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at her home. She was born on December 29, 1978, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Linda McGee. On September 20, 2001, she married the love of her life, David Spencer, and they spent many wonderful years together. Their family later grew with two children, Trenton Layne and Madalynn Leann Spencer. She adored her family and took any opportunity to spend time with them. Being very involved with her community, she dedicated her time volunteering in many aspects. She was always willing to serve with the Peggs Fire Department and would often help organize community events, when needed. Alongside her husband, they owned and operated S & S Properties as well as Spencer Custom Cabinets. She was also a member and board member of the Spring Creek Coalition. She loved to spend time outdoors and took pride in keeping her bees. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and friend who leaves behind a wonderful legacy and many memories for her family and friends to cherish.

Funeral services for Jessica will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2023, in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Teresita Cemetery with Levi Dewey, Jacob Dewey, Justin Dewey, Danny McGee, Joe McGee, and Michael Spencer serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Ed Spencer, Roger Loffer, Jesse Maner, Nole Hill, along with the Neighborhood Angels which includes Karen Spencer, Genie Spencer, Connie Loffer, Cindy Garrett, and Janet Joyner. A come and go visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2023, in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. She is survived by her husband, David Spencer; son, Trenton Spencer; and daughter, Madalynn Spencer, each of the home; mother, Linda McGee of Tulsa, OK; stepfather, Robert Dewey; and brothers, Justin Dewey of Tulsa, OK, Levi Dewey of Sand Springs, OK, and Jacob Dewey and Jordan of Tulsa, OK. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Margie McGee.
