Jessie Morrison

October 10, 1963 — March 17, 2018

Jessie Lee Morrison was born October 10th, 1963 in Claremore, Oklahoma to John and Glendola (Peters) Morrison. He departed this life on March 17th, 2018 at his home in Pryor. Jessie attended school in Pryor and Adair. After high school, he went to work for Jenks Public Schools where he worked for 15 years in the maintenance department until a fall left him disabled. He married Sandra Hare in 1987 and from their union was born one son, Josh Morrison. Jessie later married Lois Neal and they made their home in Claremore, Oklahoma. They were members of the First Baptist Church, where he was saved and baptized. After his wife's death in 2005 he moved back home to Pryor. Jessie enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting and fishing. But, more than anything he loved spending time with family and friends. He was a kind person who would help anyone in need.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, March 23rd, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the First Church of God in Pryor with Brother Andrew Rehbein officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 22, 2018 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor. Jessie is survived by son, Josh Morrison and wife Sarah of Seattle Washington; mother Glendola King of the home; brother; J.R. Morrison and wife Barbara of Pryor, sisters; Bobbie Faulk of Pryor, Sherrie and Sam Vanover of Adair, and Joanie and Willie Gaskins of Salina; sister-in-law, Anna Morrison of Chouteau; step-daughters, Sherry Collins of North Carolina, and Krystle Hass of Inola; step - granddaughters; Megan Hammill, Isabelle and Hannah Hass, and Morgan Collins; step - grandson, Adam Collins of North Carolina; many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles; and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by wife, Lois Neal Morrison, father, John Haden Morrison, step-father, Andrew King, brother, Rhew Morrison, and brother and best friend, Dale Allen Morrison, brother-in-law, Kenny Faulk, grandparents, Roy and Maudie Peters, and Glayds Rose, uncles, Robert Peters and Doc Goforth.
