Jewell Russell

Jewell Russell, 88, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, October 25,2010 in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born on August 6, 1922, the daughter of William Dollarhide and Elizabeth Sarah (Maggard) Dollarhide. She married Jasper James Russell who preceded her in death in 1997. She spent her life being a wonderful homemaker for her family, baking fried pies and gardening. She especially loved growing roses. Jewell loved her Lord and attending her church. Jewell was a wonderful wife and mother who will live on in the hearts and memories of all she knew and loved. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Shipman's Funeral Chapel with Reverend Robert Shaw officiating. Interment will be in the Graham Memorial Cemetery with Tyler Ray, Dalton Powell, Sundance Soldier, B. J. Soldier, Alex Allen and John Allen serving as casket bearers. She is survived by her sons, Jasper Leon Russell of Pryor, OK; her daughters, Doris Jean and husband, Harold Wilson of Salem, OR, Lynda and husband, Tandy Cooper of Locust Grove, OK, Ella Mae and husband, Jim Peters of Twin Oaks, OK, Rose and husband, Andy Russell of Pryor, OK and Lisa Ranal and husband, Scott Spencer of Pryor, OK; 24 grandchildren; 60 Great Grandchildren, 21 Great Great Grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper; her son, Jackie James Russell; five brothers, infant, Jimmy Russell, Jess, Roy Cecil and Alvie Russell; three sisters, Bertha Sitsler, Mandy Quick, Ethel Mae Russell.
