Jim Anderson

Jim C. Anderson, 74 of Locust Grove, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on September 10, 1942 in Norman, Oklahoma; the son of James C. Anderson and Julia M. Aycock (Anderson). Jim, graduated high school from Del City, Oklahoma in 1960. On February 10, 2007, he married Lucy Merrill. Jim was a big time fisherman, loved to garden, read history, play golf and travel the world. Jim was a member of the Cornerstone Outreach Church in Locust Grove since 2007. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2016 in the Cornerstone Outreach Church at Locust Grove, Oklahoma with Pastor John Kiddy officiating. He is survived by his loving wife, Lucy Anderson, of their home in Locust Grove; daughters, Terri Jones of Greenwood, Arkansas, Traci Calloway of Frisco, Texas; stepsons, Jaime James of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, Larry Nichols of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, Leonard Blackfox of Peggs, Oklahoma, Ronald Blackfox of Leach, Oklahoma, Perry Blackfox and wife Velma of Leach, Oklahoma; step daughters, Diane Thomas and husband Russell of Anderson, Missouri; brother, John Anderson and wife Norma of Louisville, Kentucky; sister, Kathy Bohannon and husband of Poteau, Oklahoma; 2 nieces; many grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; James and Julia Anderson.
