Jimmie Graham

Jimmie Lee Graham, 56 years and 11 days, passed away on December 24, 2010 at his home north of Salina, Oklahoma. He was born on December 13, 1954 in Pryor, Oklahoma, the son of Encil Graham and Carleta (Payton) Graham. The family moved to Nipomo, California in 1957 where Jimmie lived and went to school until September of 1969 when his father passed away and he moved back to Pryor, Oklahoma where he lived the rest of his life. Jimmie graduated from Pryor High School in 1973. While attending High School he was involved in the building of two homes with the carpentry class at Northeast Area Vo-Tech, now NTC. After High School, Jimmie went to work for RAE Corp in 1974, located in the Mid American Industrial Park, as a painter and later he became a machinist running a CNC machine, normally working the night shift. He worked with RAE Corp for 35 years and left their employment in 2009. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and anything that involved wildlife and nature in Northeastern Oklahoma. Jimmie will be so very missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 30, 2010 in the Shipman's Funeral Chapel with Reverend Harry Jackson officiating. Interment will be in the Bryan Chapel Cemetery at Boatman, Oklahoma with Hershal Pierce, Ronnie Moore, Josh Pierce, Mike Pierce, Randy Davis and Adam Almendarez serving as casket bearers. Jimmie leaves his mother and father, Carla and Doyle Pierce of Salina, Oklahoma; one brother and sister-in-law, Leon and Vicki Graham of Pryor, OK; three children, Daniel Lee Graham of Salina, OK, Rebecca Ann Graham of Kingsford Heights, IN and Charity Grace Graham of Langley, OK; two grandchildren, Haven Graham and Ethan Graham; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy Gage of Ozark, AR; grandfather, Frank Peyton of Fresno, CA and his father Encil Graham of Nipomo, CA.
